What Podium is
Podium is a free F1 podium-prediction game. Each race weekend you predict the three drivers on the podium. You earn points for each correct driver, more for correct positions, plus a bonus for a perfect podium. Points accumulate into season leaderboards and private leagues.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Podium. If you're signing up for a minor, please don't.
Your account
- One account per person. Don't share sign-in credentials.
- Keep your password safe. If you lose it, use the reset link from the sign-in page.
- You're responsible for anything that happens under your account. If you think someone else has access, email us immediately.
Acceptable use
Don't do any of the following:
- Scrape, crawl, or automate picks or league actions programmatically.
- Impersonate another person, team, or brand in your display name or league name.
- Use Podium to harass other users or post abusive content in league or profile names.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the scoring or probe the system for vulnerabilities outside the bounds of good-faith security research (if that's you, email us).
Content you create
Picks, league names, and your display name belong to you. By using Podium, you grant us the limited right to display that content within the app (for example, your league name on a leaderboard visible to other league members). We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.
Intellectual property
Our IP. The Podium GP name, the app design, the wordmark, the source code, the scoring system, the AI-generated race summaries, and every original asset (illustrations, layouts, copy, prompts) are the property of the project operator. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, redistribute, frame, scrape, reverse-engineer, fine-tune models on, or build derivative works from any part of the app or its content without prior written permission.
Your content. Picks, league names, display names, and any other content you contribute remain yours. By using Podium GP you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate the app (for example, showing your league name to other league members or your picks on a leaderboard). The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we retain anonymised aggregates for analytics or legal compliance.
Third-party trademarks. Driver names, team names, race names, circuit names, and other motorsport identifiers are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them nominatively, in a factual, descriptive way, to refer to the Formula 1 calendar and its participants. Podium GP is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored bythe Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), Formula One Management, Liberty Media, any Formula 1 team, or any driver. Race data is supplied by the Jolpica F1 API.
Notices. If you believe content on Podium GP infringes your rights, contact us at the email below with the affected URL, a description of the work, and your contact details. We will investigate and act in good faith.
No wagering
Podium is a free, entertainment-only prediction game. There is no betting, no cash prizes, no in-app purchases, and no virtual currency. Nothing in this app constitutes financial or sporting advice.
Availability and changes
We try to keep the app running, but we offer it "as is" with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. Race schedules and results are sourced from a third-party API and may occasionally be delayed or incorrect. We may change features, scoring rules, or remove the service entirely at our discretion.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings - this is immediate and irreversible. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability to you is limited to nothing (the app is free). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of picks, league standings, or bragging rights.
Privacy
How we handle your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless you have non-waivable consumer rights under the laws of your own country, in which case those apply.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms in a material way, we'll bump the "Last updated" date and notify you by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the new version.
